About the author

Phyllis Keels is a North Carolina native and has been a writer for nearly twenty years. While she enjoys writing mostly fiction she also writes her findings from intense Bible study, delving into the original Hebrew and Greek meanings of the words and phrases.

Phyllis has always been fascinated by the thought of time travel and with classic fantasy books. She loves the works of HG Wells, Jules Verne and Edgar Rice Burroughs yet her favorite author would have to be, without a doubt, C. S. Lewis.

Some of Phyllis’ other activities include pottery, playing the electric bass and teaching Sunday school. Phyllis has a daughter and a son, both grown now, and a yellow Labrador retriever named Emma.

The author hopes one day to incorporate her love of animals into a volunteer program in her area to rescue dogs from animal shelters and train them as therapy dogs for nursing home and hospital patients.

In the meantime she is content to work on her second novel titled, “Daldriada”.
